In developing Eventeer 2.0, I implemented a user-focused approach:
Discover: I conducted in-depth interviews with 20 event organizers at Telkom Indonesia and analyzed usage data from 1000+ events managed through Eventeer 1.0. This revealed key issues such as difficulties in participant management and lack of feature integration.
Define: Based on these findings, I created user journey maps illustrating the event management process from start to finish. This helped identify critical points for improvement, such as the need for a more intuitive dashboard and a more comprehensive reporting system.
Develop: I designed interactive prototypes for the new dashboard and participant management system. Through five collaborative design sessions with the Telkom team, we refined these features, ensuring they met the company's specific needs. I also developed a comprehensive design system, "EventeerUI," which included a color palette, typography, and reusable components to ensure consistency across the platform.
Deliver: I led a beta testing phase with a group of 50 users from various Telkom departments over one month. This feedback was used to refine the user interface and add real-time analytics features highly requested by event managers. The design system proved invaluable during this phase, allowing for quick iterations and maintaining visual consistency.
Throughout the process, I utilized the Eventeer UI design system to streamline development, ensure consistency, and facilitate efficient collaboration between design and development teams.
